Instructor - Task 5.1 - Execution of MDT Activities: Lessons

Content

Teaching and guiding participants through skill assessments is something you learn by doing. You have agreed with the project leader of ExpeditieRED which tasks you will perform. This can be at your club or at ExpeditieRED itself, and sometimes at both.

You will always have a mentor at the club and a contact person at ExpeditieRED who will evaluate your progress periodically. At the end, there will be a final discussion and evaluation.

All activities will be recorded in ExpeditieRED as events. For each type of activity (teaching in a course or event), you will receive a badge. This way, you can always show what you have accomplished. In total, you are required to complete at least 80 hours, including your training. Some activities may take longer because they are in course format, while others are one-day events. This will be clearly indicated.

If you wish to include more hours outside of MDT, that is possible. We want to make visible all the contributions you make to society.
