Giving training and guiding athletes is something you learn by doing. Together with the project leader of ExpeditieRED, you've agreed on the tasks you'll undertake. This could be at your club, with ExpeditieRED itself, or sometimes both.
At the club, you'll always have a mentor and a contact person at ExpeditieRED. You can turn to them with any questions you may have. The contact person evaluates your progress periodically. At the end, there will be a final discussion and evaluation.
All tasks are recorded in the ExpeditieRED platform as activities. For each task completed, you'll receive a badge, allowing you to showcase your accomplishments. In total, you must complete at least 80 hours, including your training. Some tasks, such as training sessions, may occur one to several days per week throughout the year, while others may be one-day events. This badge is earned for giving training sessions, with the number of hours you've worked as an MDT participant indicated on the badge.
If you wish to include more hours outside of MDT, that's possible too. We want you to be able to demonstrate the valuable contributions you make to society.
