As a supervisor, you can do everything to maintain safety in the pool, but you don't have complete control. People can do unpredictable things, and sometimes accidents happen unexpectedly, such as when a swimmer jumps on another swimmer. Some people are not well trained and do things they shouldn't. Even experienced swimmers can get cramps. Sometimes drownings are not easy to recognize.
If something happens, you must act immediately and have the knowledge and skills to resolve such a situation safely for yourself and others. This workshop covers the knowledge and experience you may need.
