Swim MDT - Task 4 - Achieving Swimming Diploma

Content

You have completed a swimming test and received a badge to participate in MDT. However, ExpeditieRED wants everyone participating to also improve their swimming skills. This not only greatly increases your safety but also enhances your enjoyment of water activities. Therefore, you have the opportunity to achieve diploma A, and if you already have that, diploma B or C. You will learn the standard swimming strokes and survival techniques used in the Netherlands, and improve your swimming condition.

To become proficient, you will eventually need to obtain the ABC diploma. It is usually not feasible to achieve all three diplomas during your MDT. We recommend continuing lessons after your MDT, as only with an ABC diploma are you skilled enough to swim in open water. Some people born here underestimate this and think it's easy.
